Fans of Euphoria were treated to another shock instalment of the HBO series on Sunday night, with many ‘tired’ watchers blasting its ‘weird’ x-rated scenes.
Episode 6 of the Sam Levinson drama, titled Stand Still And See, saw Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) continue her lucrative OnlyFans career as she took sizzling bikini snaps inside a strip club and later wrangled a python while nearly nude.
However, she faced a major dilemma when she was suddenly offered a role on a television series titled LA Nights.
The demanding showrunner, played by Hollywood icon Sharon Stone, gave her an ultimatum, telling Cassie she needed to delete her OnlyFans account to secure the gig.
Though Cassie initially agreed to the terms, she found herself deeply torn and called her husband Nate (Jacob Elordi) for moral support.
When he failed to answer his phone – after getting his ring finger and a toe chopped off by loan shark Naz (Jack Topalian) whom he owed money to in the last episode – Cassie experienced a sudden change of heart and ended up deleting her profile from the explicit platform.

Episode 6, titled Stand Still And See, saw Cassie (Sweeney) continue her OnlyFans career as she took bikini snaps inside a strip club and later wrangled a python while nearly nude
Fans were left baffled by the episode, with one asking, ‘wtf is this euphoria plot even.’
‘So tired,’ another wrote.
‘The snake around Cassie??’
‘What do you mean there’s a deadly snake that cassie takes pictures with?’
‘That was such a weird episode,’ another added.
At the start of the episode Cassie’s manager, and former best friend, Maddy (Alexa Demie) brings her to the Silver Slipper strip club to take some saucy photos with strippers Magick (played by singer Rosalia) and Kitty (Anna Van Patten).
She gushes that the place is ‘so photogenic’ as Cassie poses in a pink bikini on top of the bar.
She later struggles while holding a big white python and wearing nothing but a beige thong.
Elsewhere in the episode Cassie goes on her LA Nights audition, but fumbles her lines after getting flashbacks of Nate being attacked by Naz on their wedding night.
Her scene partner begins to improvise alongside her, and the showrunner, Patty (Stone) ends up liking the exchange between them and asks to speak with Cassie.
Cassie’s younger sister, Lexi (Maude Apatow), who works as an assistant for Patty and got railroaded into helping her get the audition, wants to get rid of her as fast as possible.
She brings up how Cassie has an OnlyFans where she posts explicit content.

But Patty is still interested, and says what Cassie is doing is a ‘new form of feminism’ as she believes that Lexi brought her in to audition in order to save her from sex work.
Cassie then not only gets the job, but Patty tells her they will expand her role.
Lexi later complains to her friend about the situation, with her gal pal advising her to just ‘kill off’ Cassie’s character.
Cassie then receives a mysterious Fed Ex package. When she opens it a note inside tells her to ‘answer the phone’. Underneath she finds her husband’s chopped off ring finger.
Meanwhile, a furious Nate is pictured stomping out the endangered flowers that have halted his construction and put him in debt while shouting about ‘f*****g f*****s.’
He is then once again approached by the man who chopped off his toe and finger, and appears ready to take another body part.
Zendaya’s character Rue Bennett ends up surviving after the last episode ended on a cliffhanger that saw her buried neck deep in dirt.
Her boss, strip club owner Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), became suspicious of her, and later threatened to kill her as he galloped towards her head on a horse with a polo mallet in his hand.

However, Rue – who was previously pulled over by the DEA and is now working as an informer for them – gives up her friend Faye (Chloe Cherry) telling Alamo she was the one who helped rob him last episode
Rue previously worked as a drug mule for Laurie (Martha Kelly), who’s Alamo’s rival and whose second-in-command, Wayne (Toby Wallace), is dating Faye
Faye tells her she has fallen in love with Wayne who is going to give her some ‘fair-skinned babies’ after marking her with a swastika tattoo

Rue tells her, ‘You’re just a little toy, locked in a little room.’ She adds that her sugary daddy expects her to ‘just stay there and paint until I come back to f**k you’

Meanwhile Alamo and Laurie end up meeting, and he agrees to a deal that will see him bring 80 kilos of fentanyl over the border, as DEA agents listen to the conversation via Rue’s bugged phone.
Rue is relieved when DEA agents later tell her that ‘we’re almost there’ and that they’re going to look at her case favorably since she helped out.
Rue later goes to spend time with her ex-girlfriend Jules (Hunter Schafer) who is now a sugar baby to a married man (Sam Trammell).
Despite the mess she is in, Rue tells her that she’s thinking about having kids and wants to wake up to ‘someone I love.’
Jules thinks she’s living in a fantasy. Meanwhile Rue hits back, telling her, ‘You’re just a little toy, locked in a little room.’
She adds that her sugary daddy expects her to ‘just stay there and paint until I come back to f**k you.’
Jules then slaps Rue so hard that she falls. Jules’s painting also ends up crashing on top of her.
She tells her that Ellis will be there soon and that she better get ‘the f**k out of my painting.’
Rue proceeds to leave in tears.
Rue later makes a key to break into Laurie’s safe. She then goes to church, where she gets a call from her mom.
She proceeds to tell her mom that she just figured out God exists and ‘so does redemption.’
‘If there’s redemption then there’s salvation,’ she says.
